Details of the program: Wild Sardinia organizes an easy excursion in the heart of Sulcis Iglesiente (an area of Sardinia). Departure at 8:30 AM from Cagliari, visit to the Sulcitano Territory: Nebida, Gallery of Porto Flavia in Masua, we will continue our day with an easy and panoramic excursion by foot, from Gutturu Cardaxiu until Portu Scisusciau and Cala Domestica, stopping for a swim in the bay, we will continue towards Fluminimaggiore in which at the end of the day we will foretell the visit to the spectacular Grotta of Su Mannau.

The coastal Sulcis Iglesiente: Is placed on the southwest coast of the island and is the most ancient territory of Europe. The cliffs are vast and extend for many miles between Gonnesa and Buggerru and then descend towards San Nicolo and Porto Portixeddu. Along the coast it is  possible to admire the tops of the rocks and the stacks and  sheer cliffs ending in the sea. A hard and lonely territory
with a very low number of inhabitants which in the past has been a place of intensive mining of mineral stones. Visiting these unique places besides the natural and geological importance (stratification and fossilized for-mations rich in extinct organsims of the Cambrian Age), one can realize that the fascination of the area are the rest of the old, abandoned mines.

Difficulty of the Excursions: Easy excursion by foot ***(1  hr. walking).  Difference in level 100 meters ( ): typology of the land: paths used by carts and horses, centuries made of calcium, streets made of stones.
